Nepali Association of Oregon, NAO, organized a talk program on “Education for Nepal” at Portland, Oregon on Sunday April 30th, 2017. Nepalese Ambassador to the USA Dr. Arjun Karki attended the program as the chief guest. Addressing to the program, Dr. Karki explained to the audience about the services offered by the embassy, achievement of the embassy and the expectation of the embassy from the clients. There were additional speakers as follows:

Presentation on “Teach for Nepal” — Dr. Shisir Khanal, CEO, Teach for Nepal
Presentation on “Supporting Women’s Education in Rural Nepal” — Katherine Demsky, Project Lead & Volunteer Coordinator for non-profit organization Bridges Between
Ganga Sharma, president of the NAO welcomed the guests and the participants, NAO Secretary Bishes Rayamajhi delivered the vote of thanks in the program. The program was anchored by NAO immediate past President Bharat Banskota.
